Export datalive PPT for outsider

Hi,

 

for our client, we develop in our tenant a dashboard. We give him access to the dashboard as an outsider invite. He can access to the dashboard. The problem is when he wants to export livedata in PPT, we have an error message with an error 401. 

someone know how to solve this problem ?

    Hi YacinO ,

     This is not supported. Documented here:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/end-user-powerpoint#reports-that-cant-be-exported

     

    • You can share a dashboard with someone outside of your organization, or with a user who isn't in your Power BI tenant. But that user can't export the shared dashboard's associated reports to PowerPoint. For example, if you're [email protected], you can share with [email protected]. But [email protected] can't export the associated reports to PowerPoint.

    Yes, I agree with your proposed solution to create an account in your tenant for the client to use.

     

    I'm not aware of any plans to implement this functionality and didn't see it on the release plan.

    Hi djurecic ,

     

    thanks for your answer ! and do you know if this is not going to be implemented soon ? because it would be very useful. Also the solution would be to create an account in our organization for our client for him to use this feature I guess ?
