Error 500 when publishing

Hi everyone, I currently have an issue when i'm trying to publish my dataset on Power BI Service ( On a premium workspace ). The dataset is 2GB wide, in composite mode ( Import Mode + Direct Query ...

Hi QS7 ,

 

Please refer to the following steps to see if it helps you.

  • It may be some type of file corruption. Please manage to fix by exporting it as a Power BI template (file menu - export) and then reimporting it again which puts it into a blank pbix file. It then will be able to re-publish successfully.
  •  Please log on Power Bi Service, upload your pbix files via Get Data -> Files -> Local file to check whether they can be published successfully.
  • Enable large datasets. In the service > dataset > Settings, expand Large dataset storage format, click the slider to On, and then click Apply.
