Duplicates data sources in gateway clusters

Hi all,

need help on this matter. I setup an on-premise gateway in Power BI services. I already add to gateway the data sources in the dataset for each report and allow another administrator to use the same gateway.

The other administrator published the same report (from desktop) with the same dataset on their account but they need to "add to gateway" again the same data sources. Any idea on how this can be tackled? I don't want my gateway cluster to have duplicates of data sources. Thanks!

On the administrator's side when click "Add to gateway" - File path is the same as in the existing

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Good day,

     

    It is because you haven't given datasource rights to that user, go to manage gateway --> select that data source --> follow the image, will be helpful

    Hi Anonymous ,

    Even if you give the user administrator role, you still need to add the user to the Users in Excel-Historical P&L datasource, then he can use the data source to publish reports.

    Select Manage gateways -> Excel-Historical P&L -> Users.

    If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
