Date Sorted Chronological Order based on initial
I want to sort the dates chronologically based on the initials of the months, like J for January, F for February, etc. I already have that column, but the problem is that every time I add it to a chart, it doesn’t appear in the correct order, even though I’ve sorted it in the Data view.

There is a PBIX you can download from that blog post to see how it's set up.
Summary:
- Add a Month Number column if you don't have one already.
- In Tabular Editor, for the column Month Short Name, set Group By Columns & Sort By Column properties to Month Number.
- Also for column Month Name, set Sort By Column to Month Number.
Note: You can also set the Group By Columns property in TMDL View but Tabular Editor is easier in my opinion.
