Date format localization inconsistent on service
I noticed that if I specify the date format as *3/14/2001 1:30:55 PM (General Date), it localizes correctly, for instance our UK users see the date as DD/MM/YYYY. However, specifying the date format as m/d/yyyy, it does not localize on UK user machines. Please see the attached image, the format in blue, when specified, correctly renders the date in UK locale. The format in red does not.
Is this expected behavior? What are the different options so that the date localizes correctly?

What I have found is to make sure the localization is set both on the PC where you are creating the Power BI Desktop files.
And that this matches when you are viewing the reports in the Power BI Service.
I think you can also make the default localization settings within your browser options.- AnonymousNot applicable

Could you please try to update the date type of related date fields as "Using locale" in Power Query Editor?
In addition, please check and set the proper language preference for the browser. You can refer following documentation:
