Dataset and Dataflow Lineage Lost

Hi, community,

 

We are experiencing one new issue: dataflows and datasets lineage are not properly displayed, meaning that on the workspace lineage view, even if a dataset is reading a dataflow from the same workspace, that is not displayed on the view.

 

Is anyone else having the same problem?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Please check that if you are checking view in the dataflow. It will show only the sources of the components. 

    There are two limitations.

    1, Lineage view isn't available on Internet Explorer.

    2, Correct display of dataset-dataflow lineage is guaranteed only if the Get Data UI is used to set up the connection to the dataflow, and the Dataflows connector is used. Correct display of dataset-dataflow lineage is not guaranteed if a manually created Mashup query is used to connect to the dataflow.
