Data source error, without actual error message

    Hi Anonymous  - To collect logs

    Go to Settings > Admin Portal > Audit logs.
    Review logs for gateway errors or access-related issues.

    and gateway logs you can collecct below path:

    C:\Users\<GatewayServiceAccount>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\On-premises data gateway\Gateway*.log

     

    could you provide additional details about the data source type (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, etc.) and whether the issue occurs with other data sources

The response provided by rajendraongole1  was indeed correct. Here are troubleshoot steps which could rectify your issue:

  • Please ensure the gateway is operational and accessible. Restart the Windows service for the gateway to update its status.
  • Please ensure that your firewall is not blocking the necessary ports for the gateway. You can run a network ports test to verify connectivity. Additionally, check if any proxy settings might be causing issues

Additionally, could you please provide more details about the issue? This will assist in identifying and resolving the error more effectively.
