Data source error: Information is needed in order to combine data

Experiencing this error for a published report on the service. Everything is working on the desktop. Can't find a solution online-several posts have been made but no clear solution. Some suggested to change privacy settings for the sources making up the data and  I have changed the privacy settings as directed but nothing works.  My data sources are from an API; in particular the DHIS2. Please assist.

    Hi PreKa 

     

    If you still cannot get it working you would need to combine both tables into a single table in Power Query Editor. This is quite advanced but I have done it to get around your error in the past.

      The table being referenced as to where the error is coming from is actually a combined table of two tables. The individual tables are not pointing any error in of themselves. The following is the full error:

      Data Source Error: Information is needed in order to combine data;Information about a data source is required..The exception was raised by IDbComand interface. Table: Combined Dataset
