Data source error - All data sources are in the cloud - Gateway?
I am getting a Data source error - see image below.
From the below URL
Importing 2 Excel and 2 PDFs
I've asked around and have heard I need a Gateway -- which I am not understanding as under Gateway Connection it says:
"You don't need a gateway for this dataset, because all of its data sources are in the cloud, but you can use a gateway for enhanced control over how you connect."
If anyone has a solution to this please be detailed in your explanation and supply screen shots if possible.

Hi nicholasp
To work with PDF files you will have to use a gateway, it won't be psosible without it.
To install PowerBI gateway you can have a look at below link:

This link has been shared with me before, but it is talking about on-premises data gateway. Can you more clearly explain the process as to how I would create a gateway to a SharePoint folder URL?
Screen shots of the process would be greatly appreciated.
You will have to first install the on-prem gateway and only then you can proceed forward by configuring sharepoint connection there.
