Data refresh: timout expired randomly

Hello,

I have created several power bi reports (related to dynamics data) in which I have activated scheduled update.
In most cases the data takes 20-30min to update, however some times (randomly) the data takes more than 2 hours which results in the update failing.

Do you have any idea about the cause of this problem and the possibility to solve it?

Thanks!

I do not have a premium capacity. I have a pro license.

    Hi, Anonymous

Scheduled refresh for imported datasets timeout after two hours. This timeout is increased to five hours for datasets in Premium workspaces. If you encounter this limit, consider reducing the size or complexity of your dataset, or consider refactoring the large dataset into multiple smaller datasets.

Please refer to the following link, hope it can help you.

      Hi v-zhangti,

I have already reduced my base, but this just changes the average update time (my updates used to last more than 1 hour and now I'm down to about 20 minutes). What I don't understand are the exceptions that happen ramdomly that exceed 2 hours.
