Data Refresh Errors after Enterprise Gateway upgrade

After upgrading to the October 2024 gateway, I'm getting refresh errors randomly for scheduled Power BI refreshes. The error is: "DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_DataSourceAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_...

I thought we had acheived a stable solutio, finally, but yesterday it crashed again. I am a bit lost when it comes to what to do? We have considered using databricks as a gateway, but have not found a satisfactory solution there either. Are you guys doing anything new?

First thing I do is go check the config files when we start having crashes again--it's usually that the files were overwritten and I need to add the trusted servers and the lastresultskipped flag back in.

    Thanks, I will have a look. How come they get updated? It is not me that mainains the server, so I don't control potential updates.

      Microsoft releases gateway updates monthly just like they do for Power BI Desktop. The updates aren't supposed to change those config files, but we always check. Sometimes they do.
