Data flow/source scheduled refresh timestamp question - do I schedule refresh them both?

So I set up a report that exclusively uses a dataflow as it's data source. This data flow has 5 tables is scheduled to refresh every 3 hours daily.

When I published said report, it created it's own dataset. Upon checking it's lineage, I didn't find any issues as it's still using the dataflow as the source.

The dataflow's scheduled refresh goes off without problems however the report does not show the correct refresh timestamp via the query below:

That said, do I need to schedule the refresh of the report's dataset as well even though I already have its source dataflow refresh scheduled in order for me to properly display the refresh timestamp?
