Data Activator trigger/alert not activated
In My Workspace (Fabric trial on the tenant) I have a basic trigger set up to check if maximum daily temperature for an oven exceeds 600 degrees. My sample data:
The alert is not triggered automatically, but the Test trigger does work. Can you advise me on how to fix this?
I'm making a PoC for a customer of ours that is considering the move to Fabric.

Try using a premium workspace.

Unfortunately I don't have permissions to use a paid workspace for this proof of concept. Did you read somewhere it only works with Premium?

"works" is a strong word. It sometimes produces some sort of a result on some semantic models in premium workspaces. Not ready for prime time yet.

Hi EwoutVisionBI ,
How often is your data refreshed, alerts apply to refreshed data and are triggered when the data changes, for more you can refer to:Set data alerts in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Hope it helps!

Thank you for your reply, Scott. I add data to a local Excel file, and then refresh the dataset from the Power BI Service manually. There is no schedule set yet.
The article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-set-data-alerts#considerations-and-troubleshooting describes the situation without Data Activator, I'm using Data Activator so I can set triggers/alerts on any type of visual with a measure in it.
