Dashboards are blank when data is being refreshed
Hello, when a data pipelines is running to pull in new data from an on-prem SQL Server instance, our dashboards are completely blank until the data pipeline is done running. Any way to get around this or, at minumum, display a message on the dashboard that the data is being refreshed?
Here is what the pipeline looks like:

Dashboards are momentarily losing access to the underlying model during refresh, which is why you're seeing a blank state. This behavior is particularly common when the refresh involves truncating and rewriting data in a Lakehouse table or Power BI dataset.Below are workarounds to fix the issueWhen your dashboards go blank during data refresh, one easy fix is to show a message like Data is refreshing using a separate table and DAX, so users know what’s happening. You could also try incremental refresh it only brings in new or changed data, so your dashboards stay mostly working. Another idea is to load new data into a temporary table first, check it, and only then replace the main table, which reduces the time your dashboard is unavailable. Lastly, if you want it super stable, set up your dataset to read from a view that only shows finished data that way, dashboards never read data while it’s still loading

That is interesting. Does the semantic model that sources your report use DirectQuery to the dataflow?

The source for the semantic model is a Lakehouse in Fabric. So the dasbhboard has a direct connection to the semantic model that way.
