Dashboard tiles update

Hi, 

 

I have created a dashboard for a quarterly business review. 

The dashboard works fine the first time, but when I change the quarter in the underlying report (e.g. for Q1 to Q2) the dashboard tiles do not show the numbers for Q2, but still showns the Q1 numbers. 

Any suggestions?

 

In the report I use slicers to choose what quarter I want to show. Would that be the reason? If so, any workarounds?

    PBI_Hvitsand Dashboard tiles retain the filter state based on when they are created. Think of them as seperate objects. The data will refresh, but you can't modify them in the way you describe. The only "workaround" to this would be to pin the report page.
