CSV Export - Export Failed - An unexpected error occured

Hello 

 

I am trying to export a paginated report from an app within the power bi service. The report is only 12 rows long. I can export to .xlsx no problem but when I try to export as CSV I get the following message (Export Failed - An Unexpected error occured). 

 

This also is the same for if I try to export the report from the workspace as a CSV too. As the fault isn't very descriptive does anyone have any ideas on what thid could be? 

 

Also when attempting to do this is Power BI Report Builder it exports to CSV no problem

    Hi LukeB 

     

    Yeah that sounds like a bug to me because you can get the CSV with the other methods. I would suggest logging a support ticket.

    That sounds like it might be a bug.

     

    What happens if you create a paginated report subscription with the attachment as a CSV file does that work?

      Hey GilbertQ 

       

      I just gave that a go and yes worked perfectly via a CSV paginated subscription. The CSV file was received via as expected via email.

       

      So does this mean this is an issue with the Power BI service?
