Couldn't load the data for this visual

User has been given access to the dashboard, report and the dataset using manage permissions feature in PowerBI service, but it still throws error saying, "Couldn't load the data for this visual". Basically he can see the report without any data. However if the user is added as an 'admin' in the workspace, he can look at the data in the report.

 

Do you know why this would happen? Its working for all other users and i do not want to grant admin privilidges to the user.

    Hi guptasunal ,

     

    You meaning you can see data in your own dashboard but user who has been shared with can't see, right?

     

    Are you using direct query mode or import mode? If you are using direct query mode, please check if SSO is on, click gatewaymanagement-> select data source-> advanced settings. If SSO is on, close it and try again.
