Consuming Dataflows in Browser

Is it possible to create Dataset from a Dataflow in browser? Downloading an entire dataflow's data to PB Desktop just to create a dataset is a drag. You can create Datasets in browser...but not from a Dataflow. Why?

    Not to my knowledge. I am guessing it is because that feature has not been developed yet.

      Thanks, Greg_Deckler .  PS, aren't you from Columbus?  

       

      So, to make use of a Dataflow, must everyone in our org. download the full 20GBs Dataflow to their machine using Power BI Desktop?  Seems like there would be a better way...

        Yes I am. That is the current state of things. The advantage is that you write the dataflow once and everyone can use it. I'm sure it only a matter of time before you will be able to do what you want. It just isn't there quite yet.
