Connect Your Data doesn't work

Microsoft has published the Emissions Impact Dashboard and has updated it recently.  At the top, it says "You're viewing this app with sample data. Connect your data"  But when I try to connect it, nothing happens: it just redirects me back to https://app.powerbi.com/home.

Anyone know why this doesn't work and how I can make it work?

    Can you give an example of where you get the option to the "Emissions Impact Dashboard" to then see what happens?
