Colleague shared a report notification

Whenever I publish a dashboard to the power bi service, my users are getting notifications a week later that it was shared. How do I stop this? I can't seem to find any settings that are turned on to send these notifications in the service settings.

    Hi csarrico_A ,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

When a report or dashboard is shared in Power BI Service, users may see a notification like “A colleague shared a report with you one week ago,” even if the sharing happened earlier. Currently, there’s no way to disable or adjust these delayed notifications in Power BI this applies to user, report, workspace, and Admin Portal settings. These alerts are fully managed by the Power BI backend and cannot be turned off by users.

If this creates confusion or inconvenience, I recommend submitting a feature request through the official Power BI Fabric Ideas portal: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-Ideas/idb-p/fbc_ideas.

This is the most effective way to influence future changes to notification handling.

    Best Regards,
    Tejaswi.
