Can't open downloaded excel file
Hello all,
Here's the situation.
I have admin permissions and there is a report in the Power BI services, I used to download a table from this report as an Excel file, but now I can't open this file, the error message says that my account does not have permission.
I'm trying here, the PBI service config "Manage permissions" I try to change the compilation availability:
But there's another message:
"The report permissions could not be updated, but the problem is likely temporary. Try it again later."
And is the same for any admin.
So basically I don't know where should I look for this solution.

Do you mean you opn the excel you download , then it returns an error.Right?
First, if you have the Export data button on the Power BI Service, it means you have build permission on the dataset.
For opening Excel file error you can try checking:
(1) Whether the account logged in to Excel is the same as your Power BI account
(2)Check for the presence of related to permissions.

If it's convenient, can you reveal what exactly you described as "download a table from this report as an Excel file" that generates a PBI item? If it is convenient, you can also disclose your account license and the capacity of your work area, because as far as I know, if your license is not enough to enter the current workspace, you can enter the workspace, but you cannot access the content inside, and the error will be "your account does not have permission".

Thank you for your quick response,
What I meant is clicking the options in the table view Icon, inside the PBI report, and export to Excel (Export data):
Export as Excel file:
Then I try to open that Excel file and it won't let me.
It says that my user does not have permissions to that information
