Audience content

Hello, Is it possible to get the link between audience / reports and users, automatically with API ? We would like to extract the list of users/groups for each audience. Thank you

As discussed already it is not possible but what can be done now?

If you need this mapping for governance or auditing:

1. Manual export from Power BI Service UI
- Go to the app → Manage audiences → Manually document user/group assignments.

2. Use PowerShell Cmdlets (limited support):
- Some visibility into app structure, but no audience breakdown yet.
- Keep an eye on updates to [Power BI PowerShell module](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/power-bi/overview?view=powerbi-ps) for future support.

3. Design audiences via AD groups
- Then use Graph API to inspect group membership.
- Still requires manual correlation to Power BI audiences.
