Query folding for Redshift
Please help, I though as mentioned in Query folding with Amazon Web Services that query folding is supported for Redshift, but when I'm trying to check the steps that apply query folding in the quer...
I have the same question.
I checked the video, and as the Diagnose Step tool does not provide a "GetResponse Stream", it means it does not support query folding. However, If I run the same steps in Data Flows, the icons in the steps indicates and yes It is folding. Alos, If I set up incremental refresh on the data flow, it allows it, meaning, it allows folding. Finally, Microsoft Learn states Redshift allows Query Folding.
So I bit confusing... dataflows indicates yes, desktop not. None offers the "native query".
It is said here by Anske that it does not support folding, but I would like to see evidence.
