PowerQuery SDK Extension in Visual Studio
- 1 year ago
Hi bmidhun
Yes, the link provided is for the Power Query SDK for Visual Studio Code. As Microsoft has officially shifted support for Power Query SDK development to Visual Studio Code. The Visual Studio (classic) version of the Power Query SDK is no longer actively maintained and is not available in the current Visual Studio Marketplace for download. All new development of Power Query custom connectors should now be done using the Power Query SDK for Visual Studio Code.To develop custom Power Query connectors, the recommended and supported approach is to use Visual Studio Code along with the Power Query SDK extension. At this time, there is no NuGet package or extension officially provided or supported for Microsoft Visual Studio to develop Power Query connectors.

HI v-karpurapud
Thanks for replying back.
The link you provided works perfectly for Visual Studio Code. However, I was looking for an extension, NuGet package, or any other package that can be installed in Microsoft Visual Studio to create PowerQuery custom connectors.
