Not Importing data from Excel Spreadsheet

I seem to have an issue importing data from Excel Spreadsheets, if I use the Connect option the data is available in the Report section but each time I use the Import option I get the 'Processing the...

Your Excel file is up on OneDrive, correct?

    I've tried both OneDrive and also local hard drive, same outcome for both.

      Is your excel file .xls (97-2003)  or .xlsx (2007 - 2016)? Sometimes it works only with .xlsx

        It's a .xlsx file.
