How to replace value in a Date Column by user using parameter or function?
Hi Team,
I have one table with a date column. I want changes/update date value by the user. Like, I have one date -1/20/2020 and I want to replace with this value to 1/25/2020. I don't want to go every time to replace my value in the query editor. It wants to display a popup window to replace the value. I need this functionality like a parameter or run time function. Is there any Dax or function?

in Power BI you cannot place a parameter in the visuals and give this information back to Power Query.
What you could do however to create 2 tables with one column (date)... one for replace and the other for replace with. Put both columns as a filter value in the visual. Create a new date column in your fact? table where you check if one date is selected in the first table. If yes and if in this column the date it's equal to the selected value and if a date is selected in the second table, replace it.
However if you are doing this in Excel, you can create a table with both dates, and then integrate the data in power query. So when a refresh is launched, the data is read from this table and integrated in an output.
