How to Connect Dataflow to Excel PowerQuery

We recently migrated everything into SharePoint.  I used to have a PowerQuery connection to all of our budget workbooks but ever since they mvoed it to SharePoint I had to try to rebuild. I stumbled upon this Microsoft Fabric which I managed to connecto back again to all of the Budget Workbooks bring them together to a dataset.  I saved the dataflow, I went ot PowerQuery selected the dataflow and nothing came back.  Am I doing something wrong or is this some sort of a premium feature?

Dataflow steps:

When I select the Query from the Budge Workbook space, it says This table is empty.??

Maybe using dataflows is not the best ste to do this?

Hi wherdzik - I am thinking that you have not refreshed the dataflow after you saved your query.  In the Dataflow, there is a preview data feature, but this is not the actual data load.  The Data Load occurs after the query is validated and the output table is generated (this is the empty table that you are seeing).  You should be prompted in the top right hand corner of the screen to refresh the Dataflow.  If you go to the workspace and find the dataflow, you should see a refresh now button, and the ability to schedule the refresh in the setting...

Okay so really weird, when I open it up via PowerQuery in PowerBi I see the data but not through PowerQuery in excel.  What is the difference?
