Error code -804 Firebird Database

Hi  I loaded a Firebird Database via ODBC into Power Query and all worked fine. Then I added in the table VERRECHNETELEISTUNG the custom column called Type... if [Tarifstufe] = 5872 then "internal"...

    What is the reason for that message?

    Powr Query doesn't know how to handle the data type of your custom column. Use CAST or similar to make it into a Text column.

Ok, I have no clue what CAST is. I changed the format in Power Query to text with the same result.

But I found a workaround. Thank you for your help!
