embed feature not available

Hi Team,

 

Am not able to see 'Embed' under file menu in Power BI Service. Am exploring Power BI desktop free version.

I have to test to embed the reports into our internal portals.

 

Please help!

    Hi Anonymous 

    As tested, if there is no "Embed a report in a secure portal or website" feature under File option using a free account.

     

    In the Power BI service, users have defined capabilities based on two types of licenses:

      Hi v-juanli-msft 

       

      So you mean to say in free aoount i will not be able to see this feature.

      And if i get Pro-license, then i will be able to see this under File menu and can use it right?

        Hi all,

         

        This "Embed feature" is available onnly for Power BI Pro license and not availablein free version.
