Delete Blank rows after lookupvalue

Hi Team,

 After lookupvalue with both tables i need to remove the blank rows its possible.

Crt_Name = LOOKUPVALUE(
    Crt_Name[Correct_Name],Crt_Name[Created By],ZMM[Created By]
    )

Thanks

Jawahar

  • JawaharPrem6  if you want to delete blank rows after LOOKUPVALUE, you need to create a derived table that would not have BLANK Rows. You would not be able to utilize LOOKUPVALUE on the same table and have it filtered as well. But you can create a derived/calculated table like this

    FILTER(ADDCOLUMNS(ZMM,"Crt_Name", LOOKUPVALUE(Crt_Name[Correct_Name],Crt_Name[Created By],ZMM[Created By])),[Crt_Name]<>BLANK())

    However, LOOKUPVALUE has severe performance implication. I would do it this way

    GENERATE(ZMM,SELECTCOLUMNS(FILTER(Crt_Name,Crt_Name[Created By]=ZMM[Created By]),Crt_Name[Correct_Name]))
