Data Refresh Error - - [DataSource.Error] Microsoft SQL: Cannot open server

I have a user that is trying to refresh an excel sheet that has a power query building the data but when they click "Refresh All" under the "Data" menu they get following error:   "[DataSource.Erro...

Hi iainmc_macca 

Based on your infotmation, You need to check the following points:

1.If your login username is right, you can refer to the following link.

python - Cannot open server requested by the login - Stack Overflow

2.Make sure that you have configure the firewall in  Azure,  you can refer to the following link.

Fixing error "Cannot open server - - requested by the login. Client with IP address - - is not allowed to access the server." in Azure deployments from Visual Studio (koskila.net)
