CRM Content pack
The CRM content pack worked like a champ for me and also all of the other methods to connect to the OData feed from CRM Online. Seems like a case of either it is going to work or not. I didn't do anything special, just entered the credentials I normally use to logon to CRM Online directly. Obviously, try that directly against CRM Online and make sure you can logon and see things. I do have pretty much "god" access to the CRM Online environment so perhaps it is a specific role setting. Give yourself every role and see if that fixes it.
This article might help as well but probably only once you can connect to the OData feed:
Whoops, posted the wrong link originally:
Thanks guys. The content pack is still failing. I can now connect through Power Query and POwer BI Desktop designer. Would like to get the content pack up and running. Will double check permissions as I can not see some data when connected through Power BI Desktop designer even though I can see the tables.
Cheers

Advocate I
I can get the content pack to load fine in the Power BI app but I'd love to see it in the Desktop or Power Query so I could add fields. It's great for some out of the box but there's no customizations (unless I'm missing something)
