AWS Performance issues with DirectQuery

Hi demaldonado19 ,

I'm afraid that maybe caused by your large dataset.

In addition, if we use direct query mode, the query will be sent to the underlying data source when we create the visual or filter the data in power bi , so the performace will be a little slow.

Please have a reference of this document about direct query performance.

    I currently only have PowerBI Pro, do you know if PowerBI Premium would help with this issue?
