Append queries adds NULL
Hi,
I want to append three tables with different columns with one row each.
When I append the tables, the rows in the new table are moved and the empty cells are filled with zero. I want to insert all the values in the first line as in the picture.
Can anyone help me.
In Power Query, add a custom column. Just put the name of the table2 query after the '='
This will give you a row like
col1 col2 custom
42739 557... Table
Expand the custom column using the header icon.
You are now 2/3 of the way there.
Add another custom column with the name of the third query, and expand that too

It sounds like your doing an Append, not a Merge. Can you verify you are doing a merget, and include what join kind you are using.
