Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\bin\PBIDesktop.exe'

Hello All,

 

Recently after rebooting I tried to open PowerBI on my PC and I get the following error:

 

Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\bin\PBIDesktop.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again.

 

I get this with every report I try to open. I have reinstalled both 32 and 64-bit versions of the programm. So far no luck.

 

Any suggestions?

    Anonymous , if you installed app, just search the name in the start menu and open or open from the windows store.

     

    Also make latest windows patch is applied

      I get the same error. I think it has to do something with an update of Visual Studio 2022. Not sure
