webview 2 problem
Hi Rishi_udemy
This issue can sometimes be caused by software interfering with Microsoft Edge WebView2, which Power BI Desktop uses.
You can try following things-
-Close Power Bi desktop
-Check whether your antivirus or endpoint security software is blocking the Webview2 process. if possible, temporarily disable it or add an exception and test again.
-Try repairing webview2 runtime from control panel > programmes and features. if that doesn't help, uninstall and -Reinstall the latest Webview2 runtime from Microsoft.
-Update both Power BI Desktop and Edge to the latest version.
-If Power BI opens, go to File> option and settings > option> data load and clear cache. if it doesn't open, you can also try deleting the local Power Bi cache after taking a backup.
-Launch Power BI as Administrator and check whether the issue persists.

PBI Desktop use MicrosoftEdgeWebview to login:
If you PBI desktop file is large, it sometime crashes the Microsoft Edge webview.
The "WebView2 is not working" error in Power BI Desktop is typically caused by a corrupted Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime or high cached views, a damaged Power BI installation, or issues with the local user profile.
Since Power BI uses WebView2 for sign-in, dialogs, and few UI components, if WebView2 fails, Power BI may restriction or crash.
- Simple solution would be close the Power BI desktop and restart the desktop.
- Repair the Microsoft Edge WebView from settings
- Clear the PowerBI Desktop cache.
Hope this will sort out the current issue

Thanks for the explanation. I'll first restart Power BI and repair the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. If the issue still persists, I'll clear the Power BI cache and reinstall Power BI if necessary. I'll update you after trying these steps.
