visualization from third party

Hi, an interesting question. Not sure if it's possible to pull off something like that in PowerBI.

I have an application and an SQL database that we are reading a lot of table data from.

This application creates also a schematic that it draws from specified data elements.

There is also a way to show the schematic by running a command from a command prompt. I've tried it, typed the command and the application did on the fly generating a file with the schematic.

Is there a way to visualize this schematic in PowerBI? Can an exe file be called in PowerBI, and then schematic uploaded to a dashboard?

Thanks in advance!

parry2k yes, it's an image. it changes often depending on some columns. Date points are part of the image and come from the database.

Are you asking if Power Bi can automatically generate images just from uploading or refreshing data!?

aj1973 I just wonder if this schematic can by visualized in PowerBI. It's shown in the application as a picture and generated on the fly based on the data from the database.

Anonymous then it should be easy if you make some rule around the name of the image and upload it to the site where it is accessible publically can show as an image
