Using a contains clause

Can someone help me code this. I've tried several methods but I can't get this to work. My column1 contains text and I need to sum the rows that contain "AAAA" in column1. Thanks 

 

SumQuantity =
CALCULATE(
sum('TableA'[quantity]),
'TableA'[column1] contains "AAAA")

    Please use below DAX

     

    Measure = COUNTROWS(
        FILTER(
            'Table',
            CONTAINSSTRING('Table'[Column1],"AAAA")))
