Use table to create a Join

Hi,

 

I have a table of vehicle regististrations ie

 

py07 hyu

hd2 8ty

 

etc

 

Now in my nominal table I have notes  column with

 

Service  py07 hyu bainbrudge

py07 hyu Repair 

 

Basically the registration could be anywhere in the column but i need to pull it out to create another column with the registration in or create a join..

 

Any help appreciated.

    Are "py07 hyu", "hd2 8ty", "Service  py07 hyu bainbrudge" column values? Would you please show us the table structure, inlcuding column header and detailed records? Please follow below blog to provide some necessary sample data and your desired output.
