Usage Metrics Data

I’m working on a usage metrics report using data from the OneLake Data Hub, where I’m exporting regular usage metrics for different team members and building a dashboard. The challenge I’m facing is that Power BI only retains usage metrics data for 90 days. I need to retain the data for a longer, historical period. I attempted to use incremental refresh, but since the data source is OneLake Data Hub, this feature is not supported. Has anyone successfully addressed this issue? If so, how did you manage to retain historical data? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    • Regularly export the usage metrics data (before it expires) and store it externally (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, SQL database). This allows you to reload the historical data as needed.
    • Use Power Automate or another workflow automation tool to schedule regular exports of usage metrics data and save it to a data repository.

If this helped, a Kudos 👍 or Solution mark would be great!🎉
