URGENT! DATES
Good afternoon. I am attempting to create periods on my x-axis for 2023 and 2024. I have these periods as the months of the year (ie., January=1), but I can not get the periods to start over for 2024. It is putting all of my periods in the same continuous sequence on the x-axis that its period number relates to. So January 2024 (or period 1) is being lumped next to January 2023 (period 1). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use a calendar table in your data model and put the Date column into the X axis. Power BI will take care of the correct display aggregation.
I am still unable to achieve the result I am looking for. I have created a calendar table and have connected the two on the model view. But, when I try to use the calendar to sort the information consecutively across multiple years I get the following.
If I just put the period number data from my original source data it for whatever reason it places 2024 at the beginning of the chart instead of after 2023.
This is the chart I hope to achieve but with the dates in the right order and to include all period numbers. I have tried to set the x-axis to continuous but this is the way that it displays by placing 2024 before 2023

Doesn't look like you put the date column on the X axis.
Your chart is hard to read. May want to make the background more subtle.
