Unable to Drill through visual

Hi guys,

 

I have a question regards Drill-through visuals. I cannot understand why I am able to drill through one visual but unable to do the same with the other one, anyone could try to explain it? 

I am taking data from an SQL table, which is a mix of all sorts of data and using functions to calculate and visualize needed values.

Please check the example below, which describes my issue:

 

Picture 1, it allows me to drill-through

 

Picture 2: I cannot drill-through

    To which page u want to drill down, 

    1. go to that page

    2.  and drag and drop the field u want to drill through filed in highlighted area (in ur case number touchs catagories. colour bars showing the catagory wise touchs that field)

    3. it works as u expected

    Matas , The page where you want to drill through, you add certain groups by columns/dimensions. Only got those column drills through will be shown

    Hi amitchandak,

    Thanks for your reply. Just to make sure, you mean if I want to drill-through into other page, I need to add the certain columns/dimensions. For example (see picture below), I am using function named "_No_of_Touches" as my Axis and "DOCID" as Values for this visual.

     

     

    I want to Drill-Though to the page called "Page1" and represent the DOCID's of selected fields. In Page1 I already have added drill-though fields - "_No_of_Touches" and "DOCID". So theoretically I should be able to drill-though, right? 

     

    But I still cannot do that.

     

     

    If you know what I am doing wrong, please let me know. Thanks in advance

      try with one field.  in ur case no of touches is enough.

      Hi VIJAYKUMART,

       

      Your answer was a bit hard to understand, what exactly you meant, but after checking it, I understood that you meant that I should select Field "_No_of_Touches" should be set "Allow drill through when: as category". That solved my issue, Thanks for your help.


      Also, do you know if I can make Multi-selection from both visuals and drill-through to see the output of selected values? Thanks in advance.
