Turn off UI tooltips
Those of you who work in Power BI Desktop every day, I hereby rally you. We must be unified in our protest, posting together with one voice: PLEASE LET US DISABLE UI TOOLTIPS!!!!
Anyone with me? I know this can be done. Like, in a day. The Microsoft Team can provide a toggle in Options for us to turn off these pesky little flies that add precious minutes of work to our days EVERY day. We cannot go as fast as we want to go with these hover pop-ups getting in the way on every section of the UI.
Please Microsoft. Adding this option would endear us to you for all eternity.
(And if any of you know some hidden way to turn them off, do share!)
(And if I'm in the wrong place and I should add this to an idea board somewhere that I can't seem to locate, please share that link!)

Hi jeffgpd, I am not aware of a documented option in Desktop to switch off the UI hover tooltips, so for now this looks like a feature request. The right place is the Fabric Ideas site under the Power BI Desktop category. Search for an existing idea first and vote on it, since votes are what move requests up, and post a new one if nothing matches. In the meantime, moving the mouse out of the pane quickly or using keyboard navigation can help avoid some of the hover pop-ups.

Golbal UI tooltip disable option not yet available but indiviual visual disable option is available.Further you can submit this request in fabric ideas and ask for votes and fabric admin will consider your idea.

Power BI Desktop currently has no documented option to disable all UI tooltips globally.
