Tooltip have different options for the same chart

i have two parts in my question.

it relates to the same problem.

i have two charts, both using Line and Stacked Column chart. I use State on x-axis, count(ID) on the y-axis.

1. in Chart A, when hover on one of the columns, the tooltip shows State, count(ID) and Total.

in chart B,the tooltip only show State and Count(ID).

how do i disable the Total from the tooltip. i know it exist because it is stacked column chart but why Chart B dont exhibit the total?

I checked the settings they are all the same and i notice one difference (tho i cant really see why this would cause it, so this one lead to item no. 2)

2. when i check under visual> Data labels > value, the last three options are Display Units, Value decimal Places, Show Blank as "", this is for Chart A. 
in chart B: under visual> Data labels > value, the last three options are Display Units, Format Code, show blank as "".

so i was confuse why the same type of chart offers different options even though i input the same parameter.
