Time columns blank / empty after publish / refresh
Hello!
I've encountered an issue with a report I'm working on.
I have a login-activity chart:
Axis is my timestamps and values is a Count of login entries.
The Column has a bunch of timestamps rounded to nearest half-hour directly from an SQL database.
The column is formatted as time.
In PowerBi Desktop the visual works perfectly, but as soon as I publish it, the visual turns blank, and all the data from this specific column is gone:
(Tom) means (Empty)
If I access the dataset directly after publishing, there's plenty of data in the other columns, but the Time stamps are completely empty.
Can anyone assist in what is happening?
If you have any questions or need more info, please don't hesitate to ask
Best regards
Morten

Hi MortenKjaer ,
Can you test if your date column has errors that will be saved as blanks during the Power BI service refresh.
It may be a date conversion issue, because your Desktop uses a different locale than the service. You may try to do the date conversion with a specific locale. Check this: https://www.excelguru.ca/blog/2015/07/08/fix-date-errors/Best Regards,

Hello Liu Yang,
It did not have any errors in the column, but changing type to Time using specific locale fixed the issue. You're probably right about the default langugage of my Desktop being different from the service, but this fixed it.
Thanks a lot!

I'm experiencing the very same issue.
The data shows up fine in the visuals and tables within Power Bi Desktop but some data ends up "Blank" once published!
