Three column Bar Chart
I am currently using a matrix with the values displayed as bars and the visual is exactly what I am looking for. The problem is that when working with the data, I have to hold down the ctrl key and highlight each value to include when I have a long list and want to get rid of the scrol bar. However I have noticed a true bar chart will allow you to use the mouse, hold down the left button and drag accross the selection highlighting it. Then you right click and select include. Much faster. Does anyone know of a three column bar chart like this? Also am curious if anyone knows how to force the numeric value to the outside of the column? (Notice the top bar in the for right column)
Thank you,
Doug
Hi DougHood
I don't think there is a solution for the first question. Regarding the number next to the bar, you just need to create two measures for each category: one to design as a bar without a number and the other to produce only a number without a bar:pbix with the example is attached

Hello,
Please try this and see if it works.
You can customize the position of data labels in bar charts.
Here’s how to adjust the placement:
Select the Bar Chart you want to customize.
Go to the Format pane (paint roller icon).
Expand the Data labels section.
Set the Position to Outside End to place labels outside the columns. You can adjust this setting to ensure labels are positioned as needed.
