technically strong

what is the definition of technical strong (or how do we measure) in a skill like power bi ?

    Power BI is a very large environment so it is difficult to give a perfect answer

     

    Nobody know everyting about Power BI, so you will focus (become strong) on one or more of the following

     

    DAX

    Power Query & M

    Data Modeling

    Report creation

    Cloud Management

Just following up on your question about what it means to be technically strong in Power BI.

As highlighted earlier by MasonMA wardy912 FBergamaschi  Power BI multiple skill areas, and being technically strong often means having solid capabilities in key domains such as:

  • Writing DAX for calculations and business rules

  • Using Power Query (M) for transforming data

  • Designing efficient data models

  • Creating clear and impactful reports

  • Leveraging the Power BI Service for sharing, security, and integration

You don’t have to master everything at once developing deep expertise in a few of these areas is a great way to build strong technical skills over time.
