Team notification - Frequently Opened Reports

In my teams message today I get notification about "Report A". Team notification was something like "check out frequently open report ....".  I imagine these settings are somewhere in service that I as an admin can enable/disable?

    You would think, however in (sad) reality these come from the infamous M365 recommendation engine and cannot be switched off.  When we mentioned the potential GDPR impact to Microsoft we only got blank stares back.

     

    To be covered from a legal perspective we raised a DCR. And so should you.

      i know but how does user A gets it but user B doesnt even thoght they work for the same department in the organization?

        As we understand it their recommendation algorithm is partly randomized.
