Table Drill through by Single click
I have a table visual in that application name and some columns & Measures in Power BI
is there any way if the user singe clicks on a Application name, Can it open a Detail page or view?
Note: I have tried 4 ways
1) Right click functionalities --- Client don't wants right click
2) Button Creatin when user click on Application name Button will be Highlighted--- Client don't wants 2 clicks one from table another from button
3) Modren Visual tooltip when user hover on application name tooltip will appear in that drill through available---Client don't wants guide to users hover and click on item
4) Creating Hyperlinks and Conditional formatting for web url----Client don't wants to open new tabs in browser for each Hyperlink
But above 4 ways didn't accepted by client
Client requirement is to click on the Application name in that row which should take them to a Detail page in Power BI with the Application data
any possible workaround to achieve this?

One approach that might come close to what your client is looking for involves a creative use of bookmarks and buttons overlaying the table, but this is not a perfect solution and can be quite cumbersome to maintain.

First, thanks for the reply from Sahir_Maharaj AnalyticsWizard.
Unfortunately that Power bi doesn't support the single-click drill through function.
Or maybe if this drill through button can help you:
You should chick this button in the Date/Drill pane and you can click the field to drill through.
If this can't help, maybe you can submit your idea in this link:

One approach that might come close to what your client is looking for involves a creative use of bookmarks and buttons overlaying the table, but this is not a perfect solution and can be quite cumbersome to maintain.

Bookmarks are dynamic and also it will work at page level but requirement is to achieve Drill through

You can use the drill-through feature. Although it does involve a second click, it provides a seamless way to filter data based on the selected object. Here’s how you can set it up:
Create a Detail Page:
- First, create a new page in your Power BI report. This page will serve as the detail page for the application data.
- Add visuals and slicers relevant to the application details on this page.
Define Drill-Through Actions:
- Go back to your main page (where the table visual with application names exists).
- Select the table visual.
- In the Visualizations pane, click on the Drillthrough icon (a small arrow pointing to a page).
- Click on New drillthrough.
- Name your drillthrough (e.g., “Application Detail”).
- Choose the detail page you created earlier as the target page.
- Add the relevant field (e.g., “Application Name”) to the drillthrough filter.
- Click OK to save the drillthrough action.
Apply Drillthrough to the Table Visual:
- Now, when you single-click on an application name in the table visual, a context menu will appear.
- Select the Drillthrough option and choose the “Application Detail” drillthrough.
- You’ll be taken to the detail page, and the slicer will be preselected based on the clicked application name.
Test the Behavior:
- Publish your report to the Power BI service and test the drillthrough behavior.
- Ensure that the detail page filters correctly based on the selected application name.
Remember that drill-through provides a seamless way to navigate to detail pages while maintaining context. Although it involves a second click, it aligns with the client’s requirement.
