SUM or SUMX

Hello All,

I'm a total newbie in Power BI and I need some Help

I got a Query where Column A is Amount of Errors, Column B is Type of Process but and need only to add the amount of errors of a Certain process, I know in excel there a Sum IF formula but I don't have a clue in Power BI if I should use SUM or SUMX to do this, If anyone can guide me on how the syntax should be.

  • You must use CALCULATE.

    Try this :

Sum Amount of Errors for Certain process = CALCULATE(SUM(Column A);Column B="Certain process").

Use " " if column B is text.

Where do you want to display that measure????
